Economically sustainable models, Clean energy, Preservation of approximately 60 hectares of rainforest/jungle, Integration with local neighbours and Indigenous Peoples.
Free education, Village bylaws and community guidelines, Decentralized Governance, Fractionalised ownership; Land & luxury eco resort acquisition
This masterplan will be revised and improved in preparation for execution in our Village Planting Mastermind in November 2024.

The Program
Flow / Schedule
March 1st-6th
Check in at The Seed, Eden or accommodation of your own choice and enjoy Lake Atitlan. Our mastermind program will begin with an opening ceremony, relationship building, educational workshops, and fun activities.
March 6th-10th
The first group trip to Starseed Village; a 4-night initiation to meet the land and get a taste for what’s possible. Be prepared to explore the gardens, waterfalls, rivers and springs, hiking trails, camping spots and late night fires as we embark on an adventure into the jungle.
March 10th-16th
‘Back to Lake Atitlan we go’ for some creature comforts and debriefing, continuation of our programming, workshops and invigorating experiences including temazcales, yoga, sound healing, Ecstatic dance, cacao ceremonies and other community activities.
MASTERPLAN ACTIVATION
March 16th-24th
We will welcome new members in Antigua with a visit to Caoba Farms, learning about the art of bio-intensive and bio-diverse urban farming.
With our new group, we will travel back to Lake Atitlan for 4 nights staying at Granja Tzikin, a fully functional permaculture communtiy with farm to table service. They will host workshops on composting, permaculture and natural building.
During our second trip to Chicacao, we will stay at Tropica, a bamboo farm with newly built bamboo homes on a 3,000 hectare private nature reserve. We will also visit Quixaya, an indigenous community, host Mayan ceremonies, dive deep into the history of cacao and socio economics of the region, discover intuitive architecture and learn from the local women’s collective.
We will finish this phase with a site trip to Starseed Village we will present our full site analysis of the village and give you the opportunity to design some of the project. Choose where and how you wish to build your home, business, and other community properties as we continue weaving the dream.
March 24th-29th
We will finish our mastermind at Lake Atitlan, integrating our experiences and collaboration at Starseed Village into the masterplan.
We will celebrate together and close the container, ensuring that every member leaves with a clear understanding of what’s next for Starseed Village, The Seed, and The Universe Land Trust.
Master Planning
Our partners at Hummingbird Farms will provide permaculture and Agroforestry education, facilitate group design workshops, conduct on-site analysis and scale of permanence, and ultimately assist in the creation of a fully functional masterplan, which we intend on completing in November 2024, during our Village Planting Mastermind. This March we will ‘sprout’, in November we will ‘plant’.

We will spend approximately 2 weeks of our mastermind program at Starseed Village, split between 2 trips, to walk the land, host ceremonies and other community activities, as well as develop the masterplan with our expert partners.
Community cooked meals & Accommodation ranging from tents, bunk beds, and shared rooms at Starseed Village is included in the mastermind program.
Disclaimer: Starseed Village is an old coffee farm in the jungle, with dwellings that need renovating. It is not luxury.

Eden is a beautiful space located on the beach front in the heart of town, seconds away from most restaurants, shops and activities in San Marcos.
Super accessible and rustic style with wide and comfortable communal spaces to hang out, work or practice yoga with a stunning view and direct access to the lake.
